Gerry Butts
Gerry is our fearless leader! Opening Gerry Butts Auto and Truck in 1989, following the success of the Boron station from 1970 to 1980 and the Service station from 1980 to 1989, he has been the lynchpin to our customer focused approach to service. A graduate of McDowell High School, Gerry proudly served as a US Army Soldier in the 101st Airborne before becoming a graduate of Gannon University. After 20 years in the service station industry, Gerry was blessed with the opportunity to buy the property on 21st street that would become the home of Butts' Auto. He has been certified by ASE in all levels of Automotive and Truck repair. Craig Stiede
Craig came our way from sunny San Diego where he was the top tech at an auto repair and classic restoration garage. He has been with Gerry since 1998, loves the outdoors, Lake Erie boating and is an avid fisherman. Craig has been certified as an ASE Master Technician with the Advanced level engine performance Certification. He has also been to many management seminars with Gerry and is fully qualified to run the place when the old man starts taking extended vacations. Craig has great instincts and problem solving abilities and is our number one can do man.
Patrick Nye
Patrick is a valuable member of our staff and has turned out to be a natural in the way he relates to customers and the Auto Repair Business. He has a good background in retail and is a big help to Craig and Gerry with the public relations part of the operation. When you call for your appointment Pat will probably be the one that helps get all the information so that we're sure to take care of your automotive concerns.
Haven Alloway
Haven joined our staff in December of 2021 and is a graduate of the Erie High Tech Program. He is committed to quality automotive service and refining his skills. Haven's knowledge base isn't limited to automotive; he is also our local music trivia and cryptid expert.
Thomas Wilson
Thomas is an Erie native and a graduate of McDowell High School. He has had a lifelong desire to work in the automotive world. Thomas is our youngest employee and provides a fresh enthusiasm and energy to the shop. He may also be the one to finally convinceGerry to enter the shop in a demolition derby!
